Simple CRM · last updated 4 August 2026

Simple CRM does not collect any data. Everything you enter stays on your phone. There is no account, no server, and nothing is transmitted anywhere.

What the app stores

The app saves the records you create — customers and their contact details, service addresses, projects, jobs, appointments, estimates, invoices, payments, costs, photos you attach, and your own business details — in a database inside the app's private storage on your device. Android prevents other apps from reading it.

What leaves your device

Nothing, automatically. The app makes no network requests. It contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs of any kind.

There are three places where you can deliberately send something out, and each one hands off to an app you choose and leaves Simple CRM entirely:

What happens to that information afterwards is governed by the app you handed it to, not by us.

Permissions

The app requests no runtime permissions. Attaching a photo uses Android's system photo picker, which grants access only to the single image you choose.

Backups

If you have Android's own backup turned on, Google may include the app's data in your device backup, encrypted with your device credentials. That is a function of Android, not of this app, and you can turn it off in your device settings under Backup.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored. You can also clear it from Android Settings → Apps → Simple CRM → Storage → Clear storage. Because nothing is ever sent to us, there is nothing held elsewhere for you to request the deletion of.

Children

Simple CRM is a tool for running a contracting business and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If a future version of the app starts collecting or transmitting anything — cloud sync, for example — this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the release notes.
